Beautiful Awards, but Attention to Detail Matters
The awards are beautiful overall, and I am pleased with the general look of the crystal itself. However, there were several inconsistencies and quality-control details that kept this from being a 5-star experience.
These awards were ordered as a set, with the upper portion of the design intended to remain consistent across all of them and only specific recipient/award information changing. When placed together, however, the positioning and spacing of the engraving are noticeably inconsistent from award to award. Logos and text do not begin at the same height, and one recipient's longer name was made considerably smaller rather than adjusting the overall lower layout to better accommodate it. Because these awards will be presented together, uniformity was particularly important.
There were also several smaller finishing issues. Some of the crystal arrived with visible smudges, foam from the packaging was stuck around the adhesive/base area of one award and had to be carefully removed, some of the interior foam cutouts were not particularly clean, and two of the awards are slightly uneven on their bases. One presentation box also arrived with a damaged-looking corner and ideally should have been replaced before shipping.
None of these issues individually ruined the awards, and I am not dissatisfied with the purchase as a whole. However, collectively they suggest that the final quality-control inspection could have been more thorough. With greater attention to consistency in…
